Michael and Shedell Giddens, owners of The Christmas Shoppe, have an extensive background in the Christmas Business. Michael's mom started a Christmas shoppe in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1976. He was always one to help out whenever he was available. Shedell worked at the Shoppe while attending LSU starting in 1986, going to market, decorating and merchandising. Married in 1988, they continued to help in the store but each had other pursuits until they moved to Boerne in 1996 when they opened their own store in Boerne.
With other career pursuits in mind when they decided to move to Texas, they instead felt there may be an opportunity to them to bring their past experiences in the Christmas field to the quaint little town they were to call home. Now with two children Abigail (12) and Garrison (9) they continue to provide visitors to The Christmas Shoppe with a magical experience that is the wonder of Christmas everyday!
